It's also the size we lean on for heavier, denser loads like concrete, dirt, brick, or tile — because the low walls and smaller footprint keep the weight manageable even when the material is dense. 15 yard: mid-size renovations and yard projects

The 15 yard steps up to about 16' L x 7.5' W x 4.5' H, and it's the size we see move the most in established Bakersfield neighborhoods where a renovation is touching one or two rooms, or a larger yard cleanup is underway. 30 yard: new construction and major renovations

The 30 yard shares the same 22' L x 7.5' W footprint as the 20 but stands taller at 6' H, giving it significant extra volume for large-scale jobs: whole-home renovations, new construction debris, commercial buildouts, or a full estate cleanout where furniture and household goods are coming out of every room.
